Progression roadmap

From the first cinema to the drive-in

Use visible completion milestones instead of a fragile list of prices. This route stays useful even when individual build costs change.

Stage 1: Establish the first cinema

Follow the available build path and keep reinvesting guest income. Cinema Tycoon is designed around constructing the building piece by piece, so visible progress is your safest guide when prices or purchase order may change.

Need the opening sequence? Start with the 5-minute beginner guide.

Stage 2: Add rooms and explore themes

New cinema rooms and themed theaters are part of the official progression. Add them as the tycoon makes them available. The official description does not publish a complete current theme list, so this guide does not invent one.

Stage 3: Complete the original cinema

Finishing the first cinema is the verified requirement for moving on. If the drive-in is not yet available, return to the original tycoon and look for unfinished construction rather than assuming a hidden requirement.

Stage 4: Continue at the drive-in

Treat the drive-in as the next major build, not as an opening-minute area. The official experience description identifies it as the destination that follows completion of the first cinema.

Verified order: complete the original cinema first, then move to the drive-in. No exact completion cost is published here because current prices were not verified.

Stage 5: Evaluate rebirth

Rebirth exists, and the developer added an in-game panel that lists its benefits and drawbacks. Read that current panel before confirming. Do not rely on an old multiplier, reset list, or reward claim.

Use the rebirth checklist to make the decision without invented numbers.
